The "Monster" Project
It's a Speeder!
My Uncle Bill found a new Martin-Monster GoPed that had a broken engine. We decided to find a new engine and make the thing run again. These photos were taken March 27th. and 28th., 2001.

Here's a picture of me installing the new engine.
I'm adjusting the suspension in this photo.
My first test drive (about 10 MPH). It was sweet!
That felt great! Tomorrow it's lessons on safety, turning, stoping, starting...lessons, lessons, lessons....Who needs 'em!
Here it is in all its beauty! 10" tires, alloy wheels, automatic clutch, ready for dirt or street and the taller the hills, the more it likes it!
This is the new engine, a 4-cycle 1.2 HP Ryobi. At 10,000 RPM it's a screamer!
Bill and I made an American Airlines, Boeing 737 out of the GoPed box. It has a transponder, auto-pilot, big engines and everything else you can think of!
This is NOT going to be a good landing!
OK, the lessons were worthwhile, but it's still cold out!
This is how fast the Monster is!
Well as you can guess, I really like "two wheelers". So I just had to show you my BMX dirt-racer. Bill and I are going to build a "jumping" ramp one of these next weekends.
It has "shock" suspension, 19 speeds, alloy wheels, BMX tires, and can do wheelies! This is a serious machine.
